Selection Criteria for Coaches Coaching is an exciting career on the cutting-edge of personal and professional development. The coaching profession
is one of the fastest-growing in the world. In almost no country is coaching regulated by law. Therefore anyone can claim to be a
coach. This leads to an increasing number of professed coaches who provide vastly different services with different backgrounds,
education, and quality. For you, this can be confusing and risky, making it difficult to find the "right" coach. The Global Coaching Group is addressing these market trends. We strongly believe that one of our value-added factors is the quality of our coaches and services. Consequently we are setting high standards in selecting and reviewing our coaches. All of our coaches undergo a thorough assessment process and we know them personally. After a pre-screening process, all coach interviews are conducted by Global Coaching Group's CEO. Our selection criteria include the following:
Many of our coaches have served as board members of the ICF or as host of a local ICF chapter. Most of our coaches are active
members who support, build and preserve the integrity of the coaching profession. Unethical behaviour of coaches is a potential threat to your organization. It can be extremely damaging and could create unexpected
problems for you. One element of quality assurance is the ethical foundation of our profession. All of our coaches adhere to the "Code of Ethics"
promulgated by the ICF. You may be assured that we are aware of the inherent ethical dilemmas of this profession and that we make appropriate
ethical decisions whenever necessary.
